Exhibition Proposals

SNO encourages proposals from artists, curators, writers, and performers for exhibition projects and events which fit the curatorial framework.

SNO curatorial committee meets 4 times a year to consider proposals.

SNO maintains a focus on emerging, mid-career, and established artists. We are interested in other forms, interdisciplinary artists, writers, composers, dance/movement, sound, music, and performance.

SNO Research focuses on exhibitions and publications of a historic inter-generational nature.

SNO Artists-In-Residence is a program that has supported artists for over 20 years with studio opportunities. We are currently working on residency partnerships in Sydney, London, and Nice.

SNO Partners with other art NGOs, regional galleries, municipal councils, university galleries, and art schools, both nationally and internationally.
